The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking Living Room Program Peer Staff (Full-Time).
Responsibilities:
- Complete screenings, on-site support, and short-term follow-up
- Complete other assessments as clinically appropriate
- Provide linkage and distribution of information on community resources to clients
- Develop collaborative working relationships with community agencies, homeless shelters, therapists, physicians, and law enforcement personnel
- Work schedule may vary depending on shift, as this is a 24/7 program
Qualifications:
- Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) designation with the State of Illinois
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with recovery-oriented practices, peer recovery support, and crisis respite
- Knowledge of community resources
- One year of work or volunteer experience in behavioral health or crisis intervention
Salary Range: $19.00 - $24.00 hourly
