The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking a Crisis Lead Counselor (Full-Time).

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical duties on a 24-hour, seven days per week, on-call rotation as scheduled by supervisor
• Promptly respond to all calls, either in person or via phone as clinically appropriate
• Assist in directing and monitoring 24-hour on-call rotation of crisis staff
• Assist in ensuring and maintaining 24-hour coverage of crisis intervention staff, both on an ongoing basis and also during staff absences or staff shortages
• Complete crisis assessments
• Provide brief onsite counseling
• Distribution of information on community resources to clients
• Develop close working relationships with community agencies, homeless shelters, therapists, physicians, and law enforcement personnel 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required
• 2 years of experience in community behavioral health and/or crisis intervention, or QMHP status per Rule 132
• Experience completing crisis assessments
• Knowledge of community resources
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license

Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
