The Southern Illinois University Center for Family Medicine is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to join our team. This position provides trauma focused psychotherapy and case management to patients of the SIU Survivor Recovery Center (SRC) who have been exposed to violence. Clinician determines the needs for behavioral health and related community-based services and facilitates the provision of / linkage to these services for adult patients primarily aged 18-54. This position may also provide education and mentoring to various learners within the SIU Center for Family Medicine and SIU School of Medicine.

The Survivor Recovery Center (SRC) fosters healing, recovery, and connection for those that have experienced interpersonal violence through evidence based, trauma informed treatment, advocacy, and education. SRC clinics provide trauma-focused psychotherapy, psychiatry, and case management services for residents of Sangamon County.
