The Licensed Practical Nurse is a valuable member of our (ATP) Addiction Treatment Program team who is responsible for providing nursing care to people with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses in a 24-hour behavioral health residential program, including intake assessments, administering medications, and ongoing medical care, under the direction of RN and medical provider. LPN is responsible for the direct care of clients, including crisis intervention and triage on admission, participating in developing treatment plans with clients, and providing emergency assessment for possible hospitalizations and for supporting medical and psychiatric providers on the unit.
Schedule: 37.5 hours a week
- 11:pm - 7:30pm or 10:45pm - 7:15pm
- $5.00 shift differential for working hours deemed eligible for shift and weekend premium
Education
- One year experience as an LPN required; one year experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- Illinois Licensure as a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
