
We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our team within Crisis Services as a 988 Call Center Specialist. Crisis Services is in the newest building on the DuPage County Campus in Wheaton and provides 24/7 crisis mental health services to county residents who may be experiencing a psychiatric crisis or are in need of additional support for symptoms of mental illness. This full-time position will work Thursday through Monday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Bachelor's degreed candidates can be considered for this position. This position offers a full, DuPage County, benefit package which includes a generous leave package to include 12 paid holidays, 12 paid vacation per year and paid personal and sick time. This is also a pension eligible position which is like having a guaranteed retirement savings plan. Our employees are eligible for the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program, and we offer tuition and certification reimbursement. *Salary may increase based on experience and education.
Candidates for consideration require either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field and two years of experience working with chronically mentally ill population; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
