The Counselor II is a valuable member of our Crisis Care Team who provides crisis intervention services to clients via the crisis hotline, in-person, and clients in the inpatient residential unit. Evaluate and assess clients for level of care. Prepares and implements treatment plans with clients. Provides therapeutic and supportive services to clients, including individual, group, and case management. Responsible for unit coverage and emergency telephone interventions.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who
- Provides direct crisis intervention services to clients including organizing and facilitating individual and group treatment and activities, supervision of the milieu, and case management and outreach.
- Provide an atmosphere of customer service assuring that clients are treated in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Ability to speak kindly and provide direction on crisis calls and in respite care.
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours a week (3rd Shift)
- week 1: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Mon, Tues (12am-8:30am)
- week 2: Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun, Tues. (12am-8:30am)
- On-call as needed on a rotating basis.
- $5.00 per hour shift differential for working hours deemed eligible for shift and weekend premium.
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours a week (1st Shift)
- week 1: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Mon, Tues (8am-4:30pm)
- week 2: Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun, Tues. (8am-4:30pm)
- On-call as needed on a rotating basis.
- $5.00 per hour shift differential for working hours deemed eligible for shift and weekend premium.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or
- Bachelor’s in any field and two (2) years’ experience, or
- High School diploma or GED and five (5) years’ experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
