WHO WE ARE: Journeys Community Center is a nonprofit organization that provides accessible, quality mental health services and psychoeducation to the community. Our mission is to partner with families, schools, and community agencies to reduce the educational, psychological, and economic resource gaps in Chicago's Northwest neighborhoods.

WHAT WE DO

• Individual, Family, and Couples Counseling at our Belmont Cragin and Oak Park Clinics
• School-Based Child and Adolescent Counseling in Chicago and neighboring suburbs
• Psychoeducational Workshops
• Critical Incident Responses for Community Agencies
• Department of Children & Family Services Clinical Assessments (DCFS)

WHO WE HIRE

We hire professional Clinical Psychotherapists who are passionate about mental health and committed to bridging the mental health gaps in the communities we serve. As a contract provider, we are looking for persons willing to commit to supporting a minimum of:

• 2 weekdays at local schools (7:30am to 3:30pm)
• 1-2 evenings and/or Saturday mornings at our Clinic

Preferable candidates have 2-3 years of clinical experience in a community-based mental health practice; an independent license (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) is required.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Per Session reimbursement rate: $55-$65
• Reimbursements for no-show and late canceled appointments
• Flexibility in determining weekly schedule
• Opportunity to support additional programs as interested

LOCATION: We are expanding at both our Belmont Cragin & Oak Park locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• An independent license, LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT, is required.
• 2-3 years of clinical experience in a community-based practice
• Must be flexible with the ability to self-manage.
• A desire to grow in clinical knowledge and skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) helpful, but not required.
