Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Performs the authorization process of all patients with MCO coverage at Family Guidance Centers, Inc. Springfield Residential Program and assists with the Manteno Residential Program as needed.
· Ensures that MCO information is provided to Clinical and Management Team and provides assistance with utilization of required information and documentation from the Access to Care Team and clinical team.
· In conjunction with IAC Program Manager, ensures the required training is conducted with IAC team members for adequate information to be presented to MCOs for initial authorization.
· In conjunction with the IAC Program Manager, is responsible for monitoring the census to ensure that all residential patients have been submitted in a timely manner.
· Ensures all MCO authorizations are documented and processed per policy and procedure.
· Ensures MCO authorizations and verifications and any acceptance/denial documentation is submitted and placed in patient file.
· Coordinates with Clinical Tam to ensure proper documentation has been submitted and placed in patient file for MCO concurrent reviews to ensure ongoing MCO coverage.
· Ensures adequate orientation for employees regarding proper documentation that is used in the process of obtaining MCO coverage.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00a - 5:30p)

Pay Rate: $17.55 - $19.27

Education and Experience: Minimum Associate degree or some completed college courses or 2 years of related field experience preferred. Knowledge of ASAM clinical guidelines and applicable regulatory standards is essential.
