Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of hospital and FGC staff to assist, monitor, document, and coordinate services for medical detox patients.
• Coordinates the admission process and orients new patients to the Medical Detox Unit.
• Oversees the intake and secure storage of patients’ personal belongings upon admission.
• Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, including completion of the Lighthouse Locator and Admission/Discharge GRPA forms.
• Evaluates patient needs and facilitates bio-medical stabilization through referral to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) or higher levels of care (HLOC) as appropriate.
• Leads individual, group, and family sessions focused on recovery, stabilization, and transition planning.
• Facilitates educational sessions on addiction recovery, aftercare options, and community resources.
Location: Thorek Hospital Andersonville
Schedule: Monday - Friday (2:00pm - 10:30pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.63, based on experience

Certification, Licensure, Registrations: IAODAPCA Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor (CADC) preferred
