The Communication & Marketing Manager(CMM) provides strategic leadership for all organizational
messaging, branding, and outreach efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing
comprehensive communication and marketing strategies that elevate the Illinois Certification Board (ICB), expand visibility of the CADC Workforce Expansion Program (WEP), and strengthen the statewide
behavioral health workforce pipeline.
Serving as the organization’s internal communications and marketing lead, the CMM replaces the need for external marketing firms and ensures ICB speaks with one unified, powerful, and mission-aligned voice. The role involves statewide relationship-building, cross-sector collaboration, and occasional in-state travel.
The CMM reports to senior leadership and may supervise contractors, vendors, or support staff as
assigned. This position is partially funded through a grant from the State of Illinois.
