FGC is a state- and federally-licensed and accredited not-for-profit behavioral health treatment provider. We offer a diverse range of evidence-based substance use and mental health services throughout Illinois, including all three medications approved to treat opioid use disorder.
At FGC, no one is terminated from care for returning to use. We provide harm reduction supplies and education to our patients, and bring our services to the community in order to meet people where they are. We employ peer recovery specialists to connect with patients and maintain relationships over time.
FGC operates the first mobile medication unit in Illinois approved to carry methadone on a van, as well as the statewide 24/7 immediate access helpline that connects callers to a physician for opioid and alcohol use disorder medications. Through these programs, we continue to demonstrate that high quality medication assisted recovery services can be provided safely, effectively, and equitably on a large scale.
Across a continuum of care, we work with patients and communities to holistically address substance use and mental health needs.
