The Senior Therapist is a valuable member of our Behavioral Health Outpatient Team who provides evaluation, psycho-social education and mentoring and treatment service to clients, and assists clients in developing and accomplishing treatment goals in individual and group settings. Provides consultation and education to community groups and emergency services. Competently works with clients with coexisting disorders. In CABS, responsible for providing screening, assessment, and support service to clients who are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, who are psychiatrically hospitalized, or who are being discharged from psychiatric hospitalization. Particularly targeting youth that are wards of the Department of Children and Family Services and youth being considered for psychiatric hospitalization with the Department of Human Services.
Schedule: 37.5 hours a week
- Monday (8:30am-5pm)
- Tuesday (8:30am -8pm)
- Wednesday (8:30am-4:30pm)
- Thursday (8:30am-8pm)
- Friday - (Off)
Education
- Master’s degree in a related field, and
- Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
