The Community Programs Manager (CP Manager) is a member of the Leadership Team and reports to the Clinical Director. The Community Programs Manager has knowledge and experience with evidence-based substance use practices, program development and implementation, staff development, training and supervision, and relationship building. The CP Manager provides administrative assistance and project management, as needed, by the Clinical Director. The CP Manager directly supervises clinicians and interns, works cooperatively with clinical staff and members of the Leadership Team, and serves as a contact for external partners.
The CP Manager is accountable for ensuring smooth and efficient clinical operations that facilitate the delivery of the highest quality care for our clients and their families. The CP Manager will manage and coordinate substance use services within the community and has direct management and accountability for the success and operations of grant-funded programming, including the Second Changes Program at Skokie Courthouse and The Evanston Living Room. The CP Manager plays a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships with community partners.
Job Duties:
Ensure the Clinical Director is kept abreast of all aspects of program operations.
Provide psychotherapy, group therapy and case management to a small caseload of adults and adolescent clients.
Provide clinical supervision to Recovery Support Specialists and clinical staff.
In collaboration with the Clinical Director, identify and develop partner and referral relationships with external organizations/providers/community groups/individuals.
Meet monthly with established partners to manage partnership, referrals and troubleshoot any impediments that arise.
Oversee grant project implementation and ensure compliance with grant requirements, including budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
Represent PEER during networking and educational opportunities and promoting the positive reputation of the organization.
Collect and provide accurate billing, productivity and other data/information for accurate financial record keeping and reporting.
Act as mentor and coach, conducting monthly chart and clinical audit reviews for clinical staff and provides follow-up training to ensure compliance with our standards.
Assist Clinical Director to oversee key operation metrics such as: caseload management, productivity, quality of delivery and documentation.
Assist with regular review and updates to program-specific Policies and Procedures.
Schedule and conduct staff meetings and trainings.
Work on special projects as assigned by Clinical Director.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience (may include clinical internships).
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, family therapy, psychology or related field and licensed in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
CADC, CMADC or CSADC Certification, a plus
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Understanding of the challenges associated with substance use disorders and a commitment to Harm Reduction and Trauma-Informed care with openness to explore 12-Step based facilitation to individualize the treatment experience.
Demonstrated familiarity with Electronic Health Records.
Demonstrated familiarity of Rule 2060, a plus.
Experience with DHS/SUPR, township or private grants, a plus.
Must be able to adjust schedule as needed to meet with community partners and as needed by the program needs.
Must own a vehicle with insurance and willing to work out of Evanston and travel to program sites and events.
Cannot have been convicted of any felony or had any subsequent incarceration for at least two years prior to the date of employment.
Classification, Compensation, Work Schedule, and Benefits:
This is a regular, full-time, exempt, 40 hours per week position.
Compensation is $60K – 75k, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work hours will be based on the needs of the program and staff availability. Option to work remote one day per week after trial period.
